箭竹村位于永福镇东北端，离镇驻地约17千米，村东与华安县辖境交界[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
旧时当地箭竹丛生，地势崎岖，称“箭竹崎”；后因崎岖令人嫌恶，改称今名，村委驻地为箭竹坪[1]。明清时期此地属永福里留田社的箭竹乡[1]。
1934年后曾划归官田乡，之后复归永福镇一带。1961年析设箭竹坪大队，划归文星公社；1964年又并入永福公社，大队名仍为箭竹坪；1984年改称箭竹坪村，隶永福乡，1987年随永福设镇[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地均为梯田，以单季水稻为主，并营山林，出产木材、毛竹和茶油[2]。
文化[edit]
村中设小学一所、教学点一个，并有医疗室一间[2]。
