秋苑村位于永福镇中南部，离镇驻地约1.3千米，村名取自秋榜、霞苑两个自然村各一字[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清及民国初年，此地属永福里留田社，称留田乡[2]。1934年改称霞苑保，最初隶第二区东河联保与福东乡，后并入永福镇，并改称秋苑保[2]。

土改后归第三区，设秋苑乡，此后并入福里镇。公社化后称秋苑大队，1980年起改称秋榜大队；1984年起称秋榜村，隶永福乡；1987年永福设镇后，村名复称秋苑[2]。

经济[edit]

村中主要作物为花卉、蔬菜和高山茶，并产斗笠和藤器[2]。

文化[edit]

村内设初级中学和小学各一所，并有幼儿班[2]。
