洪坑村位于永福镇中西部，离镇驻地约5千米，村委驻地早年为洪氏开辟定居之地[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
洪氏早先在此地开辟定居，因地处坑谷，故称洪坑[1]。明清及民国初期，此地属永福里留田社[2]。
此后这里划入北河联保，先后隶属第二区与福东乡，最终并入永福镇。土改后设洪坑乡，又并入永福镇；公社化后设洪坑大队，1984年改为洪坑村，隶永福乡[2]。
经济[edit]
耕地多为梯田，粮食以单季稻为主；山林出产茶油、柑橘、木材和毛竹，村中还有竹木器具的制作[2]。
文化[edit]
境内曾建立苏维埃政府，其中数个自然村为革命基点村，上雷石、蜘蛛形则为重点老区村[2]。
