吕坊村位于永福镇中南部，离镇驻地约2千米，村名来自宋代吕氏兄弟在此设坊打铁的旧事[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
宋代，吕氏兄弟从永定县灌洋迁到这里设作坊打铁，后人口繁衍成村，取名“吕坊”，当地方言也读作“吕邦”[2]。明清及民国初期，此地属永福里吕坊社的昌邦乡[2]。
1934年起称吕坊保，最初隶属第二区北河联保，又隶福里镇，后并入永福镇。1958年成为吕坊大队，归永福公社；1984年改称吕坊村，隶永福乡；1987年随永福改镇[2]。
经济[edit]
村内旧时曾设集市，后有供销店和个体商店，形成小交易点；村中有少量水晶石矿藏，市镇合办的铁厂也设在此地[2]。
文化[edit]
村中的邓家邦为重点老区村[1]。
