村落所在地势平坦开阔，村庄距永福集镇约4.5千米[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

西山的农家乐路线全长一千余米，沿线设桂花园、古民居和民俗馆[2]。民俗馆陈列永福的民居与土楼、岁时礼俗、宗祠族谱、古窑址等内容，是了解永福的一处窗口[2]。

纪念碑附近另有一处景区，庙、桥、塔融为一体，便于两岸民众往来[2]。
