历史沿革[edit]
这里古称永福里，村名由此简化而来[1]。1934年起，此地被分为福市保和石溪保两部分，最初归第二区南河联保管辖，此后划入福里镇，再并入永福镇[1]。
新中国成立初期一度称福溪村，属永福镇，1950年至1952年归第三区福里镇；1958年为福里大队，1984年改设福里村，隶属永福乡，1987年永福改镇后仍归其管[1]。
文化[edit]
福里村2021年获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，2022年10月又被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。
