坑源村在双洋镇北端，邻接永安市的西洋镇。据博雅地名网，村名因地处深山坑谷、被认为是闽江与九龙江之源而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，此地为中南城联保下的虎山保，后称中南城乡坑源保。1949年后归宁洋县第一区，先设坑源村，后设坑源乡。[1]

1956年宁洋县撤销，划归漳平县双洋区坑源乡。1957年撤区后并入双洋督导片。1958年改属东风公社坑源大队，1961年隶双洋公社，1984年复称坑源村，1989年双洋乡改镇后称双洋镇坑源村。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中少数民族为畲族，2000年经确认为少数民族行政村。[1]

经济[edit]

2022年7月，村被认定为「2022年漳平市一村一品专业村」（笋竹）。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年12月，村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2024年5月，被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
