逢湖村位于新桥镇境内，地处三道峡谷的出口，村址地形似盂。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年称萍孟保，隶第四区（新桥）安仁联保，后为石安乡；1943年归新桥镇安仁保，1949年初为安仁村。1950年至1952年划入新桥区安仁乡；1958年改为安仁大队，归新桥公社；1961年另设安仁公社，逢湖设大队；1965年回归新桥公社，仍称逢湖大队；1984年村制恢复，称逢湖村，隶新桥镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以双华李为特色农业产业。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定本村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
