云墩村位于新桥镇工业区一带，离镇政府约4.7千米，村口有604县道，鹰厦铁路过境。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时代建村。早年黄氏到此定居，因村中有一突起的土墩，取名「黄墩」；后「黄」「云」方言音近，演化为今名。[1]

1934年称云墩保，后并入新桥镇；1950年至1952年属新桥区，设云墩乡。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村地四面环山，九龙溪水流经村地。全村503户1668人（博雅地名网所载，未注年份），辖6个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

村民中多数从事食用菌种植，村集体经济则依靠出租标准化大棚获得收入。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年12月，村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单；2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年12月，村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。2022年12月，被确定为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」（食用菌）。[1][2]
