秀岐头村位于新桥镇北部，与溪南镇相邻，距镇区约22千米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年时隶第四区（新桥）安仁联保，后为石安乡；1943年归新桥镇。1958年改为党口大队，隶新桥公社；1961年析置安仁公社时曾划入其中；1965年回归新桥公社；1970年另设秀岐头大队；1984年村制恢复，称秀岐头村，隶新桥镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村地面积约1平方千米，耕地约330亩；林地超过一万亩，内含公益林约1880亩，另有毛竹林三千余亩。全村76户314人（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。[1]

村内以种植水稻为主，并发展林、竹、茶、果等经济作物。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年1月，村被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
