坂尾村位于石码溪的中下游，村庄沿河狭长分布，下辖6个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年属大坪保，隶第四区（新桥）安仁联保，后为石安乡；1943年归新桥镇安仁保；1949年初为新桥镇大坪村。1950年至1952年属新桥区，之后并入安仁乡。1958年改为党口大队，隶新桥公社；1961年析置安仁公社时曾划入其中；1965年回归新桥公社。1981年地名普查时，因与南洋公社的党口大队重名，改以大队驻地「坂尾」为名；1984年改称坂尾村，属新桥镇。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村民大多居住在沿河约10千米长的狭长地带，人口相对集中。全村约415户、1526人（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。[1]

经济[edit]

烤烟种植是村内的主导产业。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；省绿化委员会在2022年12月把村列为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1][2]
