陈坑村位于新桥镇南部，距镇政府约9千米，自然点分散，下辖5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年隶第四区（溪桥）安仁联保的百丈保；1940年改属石安乡的大坪保，其后归新桥镇。1949年初为新桥镇大坪村；1950年至1952年设安仁乡，隶新桥区。1958年改为陈坑大队，归新桥公社；1961年一度划归安仁公社，1965年又回归新桥公社；1984年村制恢复，称陈坑村，隶新桥镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内5个自然村为百丈、大坪、陈坑、苏坑、刘地，村部设在百丈自然村。村道全长约22千米，林地约29876亩，耕地约1500亩。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2023年1月和2024年1月，村先后被命名为「2022年度」「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
