易坑村位于新桥镇东部，距镇区约4.8千米，村名来自所在的坑谷地形。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

易氏先民在明清时期开基定居，因村地处坑谷，遂以此得名。[1][2]

1943年村地属后坑保，先后归第四区（新桥）新桥联保与新珍乡，之后并入新桥镇。1950年至1952年改属新桥（第六）区，设易坑乡，其后并入谢畲乡。1958年为易坑大队，隶新桥公社；1984年政社分开，村改称易坑村，隶新桥镇。[1]

村内山地资源丰富，有13个村民小组，辖下垅口、山头安、下洋三个自然村。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年1月，村被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
