新桥镇位于福建省漳平市北部，北与三明市的永安市、大田县相接，距漳平市区约35千米。鹰厦铁路与漳永高速纵贯全境，镇区被新桥溪分隔成东西两侧。[1][2]

全镇以山林和农业为主，食用菌是农业的支柱产业，森林覆盖率较高，境内还产煤和萤石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新桥旧称「和睦里」，维基百科载其见于明清及民国初期的记载。[2] 镇政府网站的说法是：1951年新桥归入漳平县的第六区；公社化在1958年，改为镇制则在1984年。[1] 维基百科则称1942年已有新桥镇之名，1953年设新桥区，两说在建国初的建制上不同，此处以政府网站为准。[2]

1961年，原新桥公社分出安仁、钱坂、吾祠、灵地等社，合为五社；1965年，安仁、钱坂两社撤销，并归新桥公社。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属山地，地势南北延伸、东西较窄，村庄多沿溪谷分布。政府网站载镇域海拔295米。[1]

北面与永安、大田为界，东面与灵地、吾祠、溪南相邻，南面接和平、西园，西面与南洋、双洋相连。[1][2]

镇域面积的说法不一：政府网站作498平方千米，博雅地名网作约498平方千米，维基百科则作493.85平方千米。[1][2][3]

境内水力资源丰富，建有18座电站。矿产方面，富含煤、萤石、高岭土和花岗岩，省属企业福能漳平煤业有限公司驻于境内。[1]

森林覆盖率为81%，镇政府网站称镇为国家级生态乡镇、省重点林区乡镇。[1]

人口民族[edit]

维基百科载，2019年户籍人口为32823人。[2] 镇政府网站另有一组数字：户籍3.11万人，常住则为1.87万人，未注年份。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以食用菌为支柱产业，主要种植毛木耳和香菇；油茶与毛竹是重要的林产。镇区设有新桥工业集中区，镇内有新桥、麦园两处农贸市场。[1]

2004年，龙岩市授予新桥「先进文化乡镇」称号。镇政府网站还列出「全国重点镇」「福建绿色乡镇」「福建省科技示范乡镇」「龙岩商贸重镇」「漳平市北部中心镇」等称号。[1]

文化[edit]

1989年，新桥被文化部命名为「现代民间绘画之乡」，镇政府网站称这是全国唯一的乡镇级「画乡」。2008年，文化部又命名新桥为「中国民间文化艺术（农民画）之乡」；2021年，文化和旅游部公共服务司命名为「2021-2023年度中国民间文化艺术（农民画）之乡」。[1]

省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目中，漳平农民画列于第六批。春节期间的民间活动以板凳龙（花灯龙）和竹马灯最为人知。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

华唐阁又名观音阁，位于义宅村村尾。陈云隐在明成化年间（1465～1487）发起修建，之后屡经修缮。建筑为两层的干阑式结构，占地约185平方米。它于1989年10月被定为县级文物保护单位，2009年11月又进入省级文物保护单位的第七批名录。[4]

虎符祖殿在南丰村，其建筑始于宋代，至明嘉靖十六年（1537年）又经重建。殿内供奉张法主，属道教场所。它在2009年11月进入福建省第七批省级文物保护单位之列；2019年4月，龙岩市把它定为备案管理民间信仰场所的首批试点之一。[1][5]

镇政府网站还列有漳平市级涉台单位「龙安堂」。[1]
