历史沿革[edit]
村名原作黄畬。相传黄姓人家早来此开畬定居，后因“畬”“祠”二字方言读音相近，写作今名。[1]
1961年改称黄祠大队；1984年归桂林乡，村名定为黄祠村；1995年3月起划入桂林街道办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
上黄祠、下黄祠和十公里三个自然村的村民，主要收入来自生猪养殖、毛竹种植、蔬菜种植和养鱼。[1]
文化[edit]
黄祠村先后获得多项荣誉：黄祠村于2022年12月获福建省绿化委员会认定，成为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2021年1月、2023年1月、2024年1月，三次获「龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号；2024年5月，被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
