上桂林社区是桂林街道的城市社区，位于漳平市城区南部，地处九龙江溪上游，与菁城街道隔河相望。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧称榉林（上段）与坂尾（下段）。明朝万历时为避知县黄榉之讳，改用桂林之名，此段属桂林上段，故称上桂林。[1]

1958年起此地为上桂林大队，归红专、城郊、桂林几个公社分管；1984年称上桂村。1995年4月村委会撤销，改为居委会。2003年5月社区整合时改名，原居委会改为社区居委会。[1]

经济[edit]

辖区内有银行、农村信用社等金融机构，另有市医院与社保中心。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，上桂林社区入选「2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
