菁西社区是福建省龙岩市漳平市菁城街道下辖的社区，位于市区旧城西部，2002年6月由星政居委会和菁西村整合设立。[1]

名称由来[edit]

「菁」字取自菁城，社区在市区旧城西部，明清时代建村，因属居仁里小菁社而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年以后此地归第一区菁城镇的西南保；1950年至1952年间划入菁华区菁城镇。1958年成立菁城大队，1961年分出菁西大队；1984年改称菁西村，仍属菁城镇，1995年3月起划归菁城街道办事处。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；同年5月，又被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
