菁城街道是福建省龙岩市漳平市下辖的街道，位于漳平市中部、九龙江北溪上游北岸，是市委、市政府所在地，也是全市政治、经济文化和交通的中心。[1][3]

名称由来[edit]

此地古时多种蓼蓝，当地方言称蓼蓝为「菁仔」，地名由此而来，原称「小菁」。明正德九年建城后改称菁城，即今名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地古时隶属龙岩县九龙乡，是该乡的驻地。明清及民国初年间，它叫作居仁里小菁社。1934年里社被废，改设第一区菁城镇，此后取消区一级，改为由县直接管辖。[5]

1943年至1944年夏，平春、桂华两乡先后并入，辖域与今天的菁城、桂林大致相当，并包括和平、芦芝的部分地方。解放后起初由县直接管理，之后归菁华区。1953年划出菁城镇（只包括旧城墙以内的范围）以及福满、顶郊两个乡；1957年改称城关镇。1958年实行公社化，此地先后归红专、菁华、城郊等公社管辖。1971年并入桂林公社，组成城郊公社；1980年再次分出，仍称城关镇；1984年又改回菁城镇。[5]

1995年春，菁城镇撤销，改设街道办事处。2002年6月，原先的4个农业村与10个居委会经整合，组成7个社区居委会。[4][5]

地理环境[edit]

辖区位于九龙江北溪上游的北岸，西侧地势较高，东侧较低，山地多为低丘，海拔171.1米。[1][3]

国土面积18.9平方千米，耕地822亩，林地达1.61万亩。全年平均气温为20.4摄氏度。无霜期在330天以上，降雨量每年为1600～1800毫米。[1]

漳平市人民政府乡镇介绍页载，街道常住人口8.6万人，户籍人口则为5.6万人，该页未注明统计年份。[1]

交通与设施[edit]

鹰厦、漳龙梅和漳泉肖三条铁路在此汇合，设有漳平枢纽编组站；省道福三、岭和公路过境。[3][4]

福建华电漳平火电厂位于顶郊社区，省级开发区漳平市富山工业园区也在街道内。[1][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

漳平文庙在八一路一带，原建于明成化七年（1471年），后多次毁坏又重修，只剩大成殿。2013年1月，文庙列入福建省第八批省级文物保护单位，2007年起分三期修复。[6][7]

东山公园设有博物馆。北岸栈道及步道线路总长约3760米，与高明寺、八一路步行街串成一条城市漫步线路。[2]

「高明远眺」是漳平古八景之一。高明寺1986年后靠群众自筹资金修建，寺宇红墙碧瓦、经过修饰；通往山顶的水泥台阶分别从西环路和火电厂两侧修筑，合计约4千米。[2]

西门头历史文化街区、长北坑生态公园与东山公园、高明寺同为辖区内的城市休闲人文景点。[1]
