水源村是连城县塘前乡的行政村，距乡政府约2公里，村落面积8.862平方公里。村内辖水源、小溪、南坑3个自然村，主村在水源自然村。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名早先称水竹林，因几股山泉汇流一处、水源充足，遂改称水源。[2]

此地于1959年由清流县改属连城。其后并入超美公社（1960年），复于次年划出（1961年），另设塘前公社水源大队；1984年改为塘前乡水源村委会，村委驻地在水源自然村，至今沿用。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村内有水源溪漂流、神马谷、知青文化点和定光古佛庙等景观，几个自然村村口各有一片原始阔叶林。[1]

村口的一株古树外形奇特，名为「枯木三逢春」。[1]

人口民族[edit]

水源村共有8个村民小组，267户852人。[1]

农户收入以烤烟、富硒古稻、红心地瓜和种养殖为主。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年度，水源村被福建省评为乡村振兴「实绩突出村」，同年获第十四届省「文明村」称号；2020年度获龙岩市「十佳乡村治理村」；2021年被评为省级乡村治理示范村。[1]

2021年11月，水源村被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村。2024年2月，水源村被纳入第二批全省乡村振兴示范村的创建对象范围；2025年11月，列入福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村。[1][2]
