朱余村隶属隔川镇，村名取朱坊与余地两处地名各一字合成。朱坊、东山、廖田、天灯下、五方坪等五处自然村落构成了村子的主要部分。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时属南顺里。解放初期隶属北团区隔川乡，1954年改为附城区的隔川乡。1958年，村子划入超美公社，同年底转附城公社。1962年又改属另一个大队；1984年归文川乡朱余村委会，1993年回到隔川乡朱余村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

连城县在2023年6月把朱余村列为县级「一村一品」专业村，主导产品为「福雪莲香」茄衣。同年12月，福建省将其定为2023年度「一村一品」专业村。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年8月，朱余村入选「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予朱余村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年1月，村里获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」的命名。[1]
