隔川村在隔川镇，旧名隔头，俗称峡头村。村子两头各有一道峡谷，溪水隔得远而缺水，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传南宋末年文天祥路过此地，留下教人制陶、建茶亭的传说；1949年以后出土的宋代陶片被当作印证。宋时归南顺里。[1]
解放初期，此村先归北团区隔川乡管辖，1954年转由附城区管辖。超美公社时期，村子改隶附城公社隔川大队；1984年转入文川乡，称隔川村；1993年9月隔川乡设立后，属隔川乡隔川村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，将隔川村评为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2024年1月，村里获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。2026年1月，隔川村被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
