塘坵村位于林坊镇西部，座落在笔架山之下，距县城约3公里，西与陂桥村为邻，北与林塘村相连。[1]村中大部分耕地改种红心地瓜，多数村民加工地瓜干出售。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名源自旧时林坊的一个分门，即塘坵门；门前池塘无水，常年干涸。[1]1989年改名塘坵村，此前1984年属文川乡，1993年归林坊乡，2016年改属林坊镇，宋代则属南顺里。[1]

人口[edit]

村中现有人口1000余人，261户，划分为8个村民小组。[1]

习俗[edit]

村中自明朝以来就有春节舞龙、舞狮的习惯；每年正月十三至十五，村民在元宵时舞大龙，盼望年景顺遂。[2]
