林坊镇在连城县西部，属福建省龙岩市，全镇共14个行政村。[1]镇域东面毗邻莲峰镇，南面紧挨文亨镇，西面靠着宣和镇，北面与隔川镇、罗坊乡接界。[1]地名据称因林姓居民众多、聚居地居中，遂称林坊。[2]
这里在1993年为乡级建制，2016年由乡改为镇。[1][2]境内的省级食品园与工业园都设在镇上，红心地瓜是镇域的主导产业，镇政府称林坊为「中国红心地瓜干之乡」。[1]博雅地名网载，2023年8月林坊镇（地瓜）入选「首批国家农业产业强镇」名单，2019年9月林坊镇被认定为「第九批全国一村一品示范村镇」。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地称林田乡。新中国成立初，该地改属附城区，1958年划归超美公社，其后又归城郊公社管辖。[2]1993年，原属文川乡的一部分地域另设林坊乡；2016年撤乡设镇，改称林坊镇。[1][2]
经济[edit]
红心地瓜是镇内的主要农产。据镇政府介绍，镇内建有一处地瓜脱毒种苗扩繁基地，可全年不间断、全天候出苗，并称其规模为南方最大。[1]镇内还依托「国家现代甘薯产业园」等项目推进地瓜产业的三产融合。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
林坵村的镇武庙始建于明朝年间，已申报县级保护文物。[2]大梨村的林氏宗祠建于清朝乾隆年间，被列为县级保护文物。[2]岗尾村的天后宫为清代古建筑，属县级文化保护单位。[2]
著名人物[edit]
镇政府称菌草学者林占熺为本镇乡贤，镇内设有以他命名的首席科学家工作站，用于推进巨菌草产业。[1]开国将军张水发被镇政府称为林坊镇的故里，镇内建有其生平事迹展陈，此处被列为「连城县党史教育基地」和「爱国主义教育示范基地」。[1]
