四堡镇位于福建省龙岩市连城县北部，镇政府设在雾阁村。明清时期这里是全国四大雕版印刷基地之一，书坊建筑群留存至今，雕版印刷技艺先后列入省级和国家级非物质文化遗产名录。[2][3]

镇域距连城县城约25公里，与清流县长校镇、长汀县馆前镇相邻。[2]

水果是本镇的主要产业，以芙蓉李为代表，油桃、油奈也有种植。[1] 2020年11月，农业农村部认定本镇为「第十批全国一村一品示范村镇」，产品为芙蓉李。[3]

地名由来[edit]

一说，镇址处在群山环绕的盆地之中，地形像一座城堡，周边又有雾阁、马屋、江坊、长校四大村庄相连，故称四堡。后因四邻的纸、墨、笔、书等物资在此集散，一度改称「四宝」，之后又恢复「四堡」之名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属长汀县，编入永宁乡的四堡里。清流置县之初（宋元符元年，1098年），北部的长校、里田两乡改属清流；连城置县之后（宋绍兴三年，1133年），南部的到湖、大坑源、蕉坑一带改归北团。[4]

1951年这一带划归连城县，设四堡区。1956年6月，这一带曾并入北团区；1958年改称红专公社，此后与北团、罗坊共同组成金星公社，1963年再分出四堡公社，1984年改设四堡乡，2016年撤乡设镇。[4]

1999年，四堡乡被福建省政府列为首批「省级历史文化名乡」。雾阁、田茶、中南、四桥4个村列入「中国传统村落」名录。[2]

雕版印刷与书坊[edit]

宋代已有雕版刻书，明代形成规模，清代是最兴旺的时期。明清时期镇内书坊近300家，已查证刻印书籍9大类1000余种，销往13个省的150个县市。[2]

书坊多为四合院式木构，中轴线上设前、中、后三厅，山墙砌青砖风火墙以防火。书坊内保存的雕版有五千多块，同时留有切书架、切书刀等印刷工具。[6]

这些书坊集中在中南、四桥、雾阁、田茶四村，连片面积约82.5公顷。[6]

据百度百科，书坊建筑始建于明成化年间（1465年至1487年）。[14]

2001年，「四堡古书坊建筑」进入第五批全国重点文物保护单位的名单。县政府称其中包括50座建筑单体，博雅地名网则记载尚存明清书坊建筑80余处。[2][6]

2005年福建省第一批省级非遗名录收入「四堡雕版印刷技艺」，2008年国家第二批非遗名录也收入此项。[2]

2023年9月，「中国四堡雕版印刷古镇」被评为国家3A级旅游景区。[2]

镇域面积，博雅地名网载约58.8平方千米，百度百科载63.44平方千米，两说并存，均未注明统计年份。[3][5]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，截至2019年末户籍人口为18516人；博雅地名网另记约1.01万人，未注年份。[5][3]

芙蓉李是四堡的主要果品，2024年「四堡芙蓉李」获列入全国名特优新农产品目录。[1]

上枧村、双泉村于2020年12月入选福建省「一村一品」示范村；田茶村2022年被确定为省级「一村一品」专业村，腊坑村也获评省级专业村，产品均为芙蓉李。[7][13][8][1]

文化[edit]

除雕版印刷外，镇里还保有锡器制作、四堡拔龙、四堡服饰之类的非遗项目；七吉庆丰收节和入耆老一类的节俗也延续至今。[1]

特色美食有红菇粉条蛋包、大块肉、三角包、漾豆腐等。[1]

著名人物[edit]

邹圣脉（1691年—1762年），字宜彦，号梧冈，生于四堡雾阁，参与增补《幼学琼林》一书，又著有《五经囊括纂要》。[9]

马履丰（1740年—1818年），字亨夫，号伟山，四堡马屋人。乾隆三十六年（1771年）中举，后任甘肃玉门县令。[10][11]

邹斌才（1778年—1839年），字圣湘，号均亭，生于四堡雾阁一个以贩书为业的家庭，后以医术行世。[11][12]
