炉坪村位于文亨镇，此地本名火烧炉。早期定居者自姚家坪迁来，原以烧窑为业；因住所靠近瓦窑，房屋常被窑火所烧，迁来后仍兼营烧窑，便以火烧炉作为地名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地在解放初期归文亨区龙岗乡管辖，1958年改由文亨公社的南坑大队统领。[1][2]
1970年，炉坪与富塘一同划给县综合林场，各自成为一个大队，因地势较平，大队便以炉坪命名。1987年林场撤销，村子回到文亨乡，设炉坪村委会；2010年改设为文亨镇炉坪村委会。村委驻地在上炉自然村，村内下辖三个自然村。此地林地约占九成，以松杉木为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年8月，炉坪村被确定为「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
