吕坊村距庙前镇政府约1千米，与庙前村隔溪相望，离319国道也只有约1千米。村民以陈、杨、吴、赖、范等姓为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：村中两口池塘的形状像「吕」字，又有肉铺、豆腐店等店铺，因而称坊，合起来便是吕坊。[1]
此村在宋代归表正里，明清两代隶属表席里。洪武四年，村东南通往连城、龙岩的大道旁设过巡查司。[1]
1949年前，本村与冷水坑、珠地同属崇溪乡朗东保。革命战争年代村里一度建立过红色政权，新中国成立后被定为革命基点村。1958年与冷水坑合成一个大队，1972年划归庙前公社，1984年改设庙前镇吕坊村委会，驻地在吕坊自然村。[1]

村内的朝天岩、司前庵是本村的两处景点。[1]
荣誉[edit]
吕坊村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2006年，本村被选为福建省百个新农村建设试点之一。[1]
