林国村是福建省龙岩市连城县新泉镇下辖的行政村，历史上曾在长汀、上杭、连城三县之间辗转归属。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地约600年前由龙岩竹黄村的温姓人迁入开居。地形呈长条状，山多而土地瘦，形似一条龙，地名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地为长汀县南岭保，1953年改划入上杭县。1962年冬，因语言与风俗等方面的缘故，又改归连城，隶属新泉公社，并设林国大队。[1]

1984年设林国村委会，属新泉乡；1999年撤乡建镇后，林国村委会隶属新泉镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省森林村庄（2021年度）的称号，于2021年12月授予林国村。2022年10月，林国村入选第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇名单。[1]
