新泉村是福建省龙岩市连城县新泉镇下辖的行政村，镇政府所在地一带即在本村。村内有望云草室等一批革命旧址，2019年列入第五批中国传统村落。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村名原因境内一口温泉而得。因“温”字与“瘟”同音，此字不够雅，遂改为“新泉”。宋末明初，张氏先祖迁来此地，据险设寨，寨名汤背，并筑起城墙，至今仍有遗存。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属新泉联保；解放后划入新泉区新泉乡。1958年，新泉大队设于此，隶属新泉公社。[1]

1984年乡镇体制重建后，此地为新泉乡下的新泉村；1999年撤乡建镇，改为新泉镇新泉村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

望云草室原为张氏家祠书院，1929年红四军前委机关驻于此地，毛泽东在这里起草了《古田会议决议》。[3][2]

村内还有连南区革命委员会旧址（张氏家庙，位于东南村）、新泉工农妇女夜校旧址（张家祠）和红四军司令部旧址（于溪公祠）。于溪公祠建于清代，2005年被定为第六批福建省文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省首批省级传统村落中有新泉村一席，时间为2015年10月。2019年6月，村子又被收入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

2021年11月，村子获命名为福建省卫生村；2026年1月，本村列入福建省年度乡村振兴示范村的名单。[1]
