莒市村为连城县莒溪镇的行政村，处于镇中心区。村名因其曾是集市贸易的中心而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，宋代此地归河源下里，明代归河源里，民国时期隶属三民乡的莒市保。[1]
1949年初改称莒溪乡莒溪村；1958年编为莒溪大队，隶属莒溪公社。1984年设莒市村委会，属莒溪乡；1993年改由莒溪镇管辖。[1]
概况[edit]
村下辖12个自然村。村中的主要农作物有花椰菜、谷子、芹菜梗和豌豆苗。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，村被福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
2021年8月，村被确定为「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
