莒溪镇是连城县下辖的一个镇，位于县境中南部，距县城约30公里，辖区面积约388平方千米，约占全县面积的七分之一。[1][2]
镇内有明清时期的古村落与古建筑。永隆桥、璧州文昌阁和璧州天后宫三处省级文物保护单位都在壁洲村内。[1][4][6][7][8]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，宋代这里归汀州汉源下里管辖，明清时期名为河源里，民国时期设立莒溪乡。[2]
1958年改设莒溪公社，1984年恢复乡建制，1993年改为镇。[2]
清代造纸业兴盛，镇域因此有“银莒溪”之称，所产京庄纸在清代即有名。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
镇内林地逾50万亩，森林覆盖率为88.38%。梅花山自然保护区在镇域内的面积约占39%。[1]
镇内的狗子脑海拔1811米，被称为闽西第一高峰，名称来自山形似狗脑。[1][10]

据镇政府网站，镇内有国家级传统村落3个，即壁洲村、太平寮村和陈地村；其中壁洲村另为国家级历史文化名村。梅村头、铁山罗地、厦地和高地四村则为省级传统古村落。[1]
明清时期的建筑群落分布于9个行政村：莒市村、莒莲村、壁洲村、墩坑村、陈地村、铁山罗地村、梅村头村、太平寮村和厦地村。[1]
南宋时期的灯笼制作技艺被列为省级非遗代表性项目。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
永隆桥位于壁洲村，为四墩五孔的廊桥，墩身以花岗岩条石砌成船形。[4][5][6]
据博雅地名网，此桥始建于1377年（明洪武十年），桥长72米、宽5米；百度百科则记桥长99米、宽6米。维基百科引《福建通志》，称其始建于明洪武二十年（1387年）。[3][5][6]
璧州文昌阁兴建于康熙三十一年，即1692年；清同治五年（1866年）重修，1983年再修。阁身为穿斗式木构架，攒尖顶，下两层方形，上三层八角形。[7]
璧州天后宫始建于清乾隆末年，嘉庆初年建成，占地约440平方米。正殿设八角藻井，下厅建有戏台，殿内有石雕与彩绘。[8]
永隆桥、璧州文昌阁和璧州天后宫于2001年一并认定为福建省文物保护单位。璧州文昌阁于2001年1月20日公布，属第五批福建省文物保护单位之一。[1][6][7][8][9]
