朋兴村是朋口镇下辖的行政村，2015年7月由原朋口村析出，下辖五个自然村。[2]
地名由来[edit]
2015年7月，原朋口村新设三个行政村，朋兴村取兴旺发达、欣欣向荣之意命名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1928年改设区乡，1929年红军入闽后此地建立红色政权。1949年以前设朋口镇，下辖九个保；1949年初为光明区，1958年为朋口大队，1984年为朋口村委会，1992年改属朋口镇，2015年7月析出为朋兴村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，朋兴村获命名为2022年福建省卫生村。[1]
