池溪村是朋口镇下辖的行政村，地处山区，距镇中心约18千米，需经盘山路才能到达。[2]
地名由来[edit]
相传溪流源头有三个池子，是仙人开凿的，名为锅头潭。潭上瀑布直泻，溪水把村子分成两半，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，村落起源于元末，现存明清古建筑四十多幢。村子处在闽西革命根据地的范围之内，遗存有苏维埃政府旧址，以及红军游击队的兵工厂等红色遗迹。[2]
