张家营村是朋口镇下辖的行政村，村委驻地在张家营自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名有两种说法。一说张姓先祖自连城水西营迁入，便取名张家营；另一说南宋淳熙年间（1174年）张姓先祖自宁化迁来，就以张家营为名。清康熙年间重修张氏家谱时，又取了别名“营川”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1929年红军入闽，此地设新泉县朋口区张家营乡苏维埃；1934年为朋口镇张家营保。解放后划归光明区五和村，1952年又单设张家营乡，此后改为村制，1958年归朋口公社，1984年重设村委会，1992年撤乡建镇后仍属朋口镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

张家营村获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」，时间是2021年11月。2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将其认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
