天马村是朋口镇下辖的行政村，村委驻地在天马自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名旧作“塞竹隔”。村子中间隔着一座山，两侧溪流环绕，竹林茂密，把道路堵住了。北宋年间有一位县官经过此地，觉得景色少见，便按地形取名塞竹隔。后来竹林消失、林木稀疏，而左右的山脉像骏马在奔腾，于是改称天马。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，此地为朋口镇天马保。解放后划入光明区，村名五和村；此后几经改制，1984年复设天马村委会，1992年撤乡建镇后仍属朋口镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2025年5月，天马村入选「福建省美丽乡村示范村」创建名单。[1]
