朋口镇位于福建省龙岩市连城县中南部，是连城南部的工业重镇，也自古是闽粤赣三省交界处的货物流转重地。全镇辖23个行政村和1个社区，国道319线与205线在镇区交汇，永武、龙长高速穿境而过，赣龙铁路冠豸山站设在镇内。镇上以兰花产业为特色，获得过“中国兰花名镇”与“世界兰花之乡”两项称号。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋绍兴三年（1133年）置连城县，此地划归河源下里，明清时仍沿用这一编制。镇名旧传由文天祥经过此地时所取：两溪倒映出两轮明月，遂以“两月为朋”改称朋口。[3][4]

1928年改设区乡，1929年红军入闽开展土地革命，此地建立红色政权，设朋口区，隶属新泉县。这里因交通较便而成为兵家必争之地，红军与白军在此交战数十次。[3]

1934年9月初，红军在温坊（今文坊村一带）击败国民革命军的进攻，即温坊战斗。据连城县人民政府网站，同年这里还发生了红军长征前最后一次阻击战，称松毛岭战役。[1][9][10]

1949年以前镇制下设九个保；解放后归光明区管辖，1958年组建公社，1984年复称乡，1992年改设镇。2015年7月，原朋口村析出朋东、朋城、朋兴三个行政村；2018年8月新设朋来社区。[3]

地理环境[edit]

朋口镇地处连城县中南部，面积211.3平方千米，耕地约2.9万亩，山林约26万亩。镇区距冠豸山机场约17千米。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据连城县人民政府网站，全镇常住人口为21247人；与之相对，户籍人口是29885人。[1]

经济[edit]

镇区的工业集中区被列为龙岩市首批重点培育对象；它同时属于福建省山海协作示范园区，全省首批共五个，另已获省级化工园区认定。镇区是周边乡镇的商贸中心，兰花及相关产业是镇上的特色产业。[1][2]

文化[edit]

朋口的兰花产业较为突出，镇内设有连城兰花博览园，为国家3A级旅游景区。红色景点有松毛岭战役遗址，项南纪念馆也在镇上，另有一处项与年生平事迹展馆，属国家安全教育基地。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

明代建造的珨瑚庙位于马埔村，是文物保护单位，详见该村条目。[5]

著名人物[edit]

开国少将杨尚儒（1903年至1986年）出生于朋口乡。[6]

中央特科地下情报人员项与年，1978年病逝于龙岩，据维基百科为文地村人。[7]

项南（1918年至1997年）曾任中共福建省委第一书记，据维基百科为文地村人。[8]
