城兜村是姑田镇的行政村。村子临溪，溪边曾拟筑城墙以抵御外寇、防水，故取名城兜。村委驻地在城兜自然村，村内另有东城兜自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1943年，此地划入长较乡，始称城兜村，1950年依旧归长较乡治理。公社时期的1958年，成为姑田公社的城兜大队；1984年9月改称姑田镇城兜村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年8月，本村入选「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2023年6月，以富硒地瓜为主导产业，获「连城县2023年县级“一村一品”专业村」认定。[1]
