郭坑村是姑田镇的行政村。村中山坑多松树，原名松毛坑；因“郭”与“鸽”同音，改称郭坑。村内有余地、石寨下、下坑、上坑四个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传村里有罗先林、罗先丁两位力士，朝廷欲征召他们入京，二人畏途而逃回。为躲避追查，他们把住处松毛坑改称鸽坑，后因郭、鸽同音，改为郭坑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后，此地属姑田区后洋乡；1956年划归姑田区长较乡。1958年为姑田公社的郭坑大队，1984年9月改为姑田镇郭坑村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年1月，本村获「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」命名。2021年8月，本村入选「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
