老营村是连城县北团镇的一个行政村，东与下江村相连，西与孙台村靠近，南面隔一重山与文峰村相望，北面以北溪河为界，河对岸是江园村与罗王村。村内有大山坂水库。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名与旧时的军营有关：宋代北团寨巡检司的弓兵营地设在此处，营地下方一片称老营下，后来演变为老营。[1]

新中国成立前，此地是北团镇的老营下；1949年初改属北团区罗王乡。1958年起归金星人民公社的江营管理区，1968年为北团人民公社老营大队。[1] 1984年设北团乡老营村，1992年改称北团镇老营村。[1]
