西康社区是莲峰镇下辖的社区，由西康村于2020年6月改设，属镇乡结合区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
旧时城区西门外约一里处有一座亭子，名为西康亭，亭以上的几个自然村因此统称西康。[1]
宋代此地属南顺里，1949年后隶附城区城西乡，1958年为附城公社张坑大队，1962年称西康大队。1984年并入文川乡，成为其下的西康村委会。1993年起改归莲峰镇，2020年6月由村改为社区。[1]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把本社区列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
