历史沿革[edit]
村子所在地在石溪河畔，是平川、中赤两条河流的汇合处。早年船只常在此停泊，因“舟”“州”同音，古时称石溪州；后来地名改为石营。[1][2]
1984年设立石营村委会，隶属下坝乡，地名沿用至今。[1]
据百度百科，清代有吕姓族人迁往台湾，后裔曾回乡寻根谒祖。[2]
经济[edit]
村里以劳务输出、农村种植和养殖业为两大主导产业。村子山水资源丰富，适合发展生态旅游。[1][2]
文化[edit]
2021年1月，石营村被命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，又被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，再次被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
