林荣村是武平县民主乡南部的行政村，距乡政府所在地约11公里，辖15个村民小组。村域面积约23平方千米，是全乡分布最分散的村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村委会最初设在坪天湖，后迁至林地。四周都是山林，据百度百科，村名取「林茂繁荣」之意。[1][2]

1984年改设林荣村委会，属民主乡。[1]

2021年1月，村子获评龙岩市2020年度「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，村子获评龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，村子获评龙岩市2023年度「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村中有银矿、稀土和石板材等自然资源。主要产业为烤烟、仙草、茶叶和小米椒。[1][2]
