高横村是武平县民主乡南部的行政村，距乡政府所在地约6公里，辖7个村民小组。村名由原名高埔与横坑两个地名各取一字而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原名高埔。解放后，村中划为大队，高埔在村子的上游，下游一带叫横坑，定名时各取一字，名为高横。1984年改设村委会，属民主乡。[1][2]

据百度百科，明洪武年间有一位名叫董荣的人，从江西抚州金溪县迁入福建，就此定居。[2]

2021年1月，村子获评龙岩市2020年度「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，村子获评龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，村子获评龙岩市2023年度「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植烤烟、仙草、小米椒和茶叶为主。村中出产的高埔茶，明清时期曾作为贡品，2009年被列入福建省优质种源保护品种。[1]

「绿茶制作技艺（武平高埔茶）」2022年列入省级非物质文化遗产，村中设有传承基地开展培训。[2] 2022年8月，被龙岩市农业农村局认定为龙岩市2022年市级「一村一品」专业村（武平绿茶）；2024年11月，村子列入2024年度福建省「一村一品」专业村，主营茶叶。[1]
