高书村是武平县民主乡西南部的行政村，距乡政府所在地约4公里，村子西面与江西省寻乌县项山乡的福中村相接。村中有红四军入闽时期的旧址，是乡内的红色遗迹所在地。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1929年2月，红四军前委曾进入该村，当地称之为「红四军入闽第一村」，村中设有陈列馆，并保存朱德讲话旧址。[1][3]

1984年成立村委会，村委会驻康复塘自然村，属民主乡。[1]

2007年，村中被列为市级竹业发展示范村。2019年12月，被国家林业和草原局列入第二批国家森林乡村名单；2020年11月，被授予第六届全国文明村镇称号；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1][2]
