地名由来[edit]
村子两侧是山，中间一条狭长平地，中部宽、两端尖，形如船只。原名船坑，后谐音称善坑，此后才改为现名贤坑。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1930年，红四军一部在此活动，同时建立了贤坑乡苏维埃政府。[2]
1958年复设为贤坑村，后改设大队，1984年改为村委会。[1][2]
文化[edit]
2024年1月和2023年1月，贤坑村先后被命名为2023年度和2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
