湘村是福建省龙岩市武平县大禾镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东南部，距镇政府所在地约5公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村民委员会所在的自然村名为湘村，村名由它而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前夕，大溪乡公所曾设在湘村的土围祠内。1949年至1951年属大禾区，称湘村村；1952年至1955年为大禾区湘村乡。1956年至1957年属武北区。公社时期为大禾公社湘村大队，1984年起以大禾乡湘村村委会的建制延续，村委会驻地迁至原湘村茶场的新址。[1]
文化[edit]
2012年，湘村被评为市级「生态村」。2024年1月、2023年1月和2021年1月，湘村先后被命名为2023年度、2022年度和2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1][2]
