象洞镇位于福建省龙岩市武平县南部，地处闽粤边界，南邻广东省蕉岭县。2015年3月，象洞乡撤销并设立象洞镇，现辖11个行政村。全镇平均海拔469米，是全县海拔最高的乡镇。镇内红色革命遗迹较多，客家祠堂文化典型，并被世界何氏总会视为何仙姑文化的源头。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地古为原始森林，常有野象栖居，境内有三十六个盆地，地名由此而来，当地属闽西「梅花十八洞」之一。[2]

清代此地称盈塘里，民国年间分设象洞区与象洞乡。1929年，中共武平县委在此设立，此后象洞区与武平县苏维埃政府也相继设于这里。[3]

新中国成立后，此地于1949年10月起划为象洞区；1955年与岩前组成岩象区；1957年又改回象洞乡。1958年公社化时设象洞公社，1984年恢复设乡，2015年3月撤销乡建制，改设象洞镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

象洞镇位于武夷山脉西麓以南的山涧盆地中，地势西高东低，境内兼有中山、低山、高丘、低丘和盆谷等地貌。全镇平均海拔469米，在全县乡镇中最高。[1]

气候属亚热带海洋性季风气候。多年平均降雨量1692毫米，年平均气温在17至20℃之间，年日照时数为1758.1小时，全年无霜期284天。[1]

镇域距武平县城40公里，距古武高速、永武高速和龙龙高铁入口站约15公里。[1]

人口民族[edit]

截至2025年上半年，全镇总户数4452户，总人口14080人，其中常住人口8653人。居民以汉族为主，讲客家方言。[1]

经济[edit]

镇里以「一鸡一果一鸽」为重点特色产业，即象洞鸡、黄金百香果与肉鸽养殖；烤烟、湖羊等产业也有发展。[1]

文化[edit]

象洞镇的红色革命史较为突出。据武平县人民政府介绍，这里是武平第一个党支部和中共武平临时县委的成立地，也是「象洞暴动」的策源地。革命故事题材「八个红小鬼」即诞生于此，全镇还被称作「二十年红旗不倒」的革命乡镇。[1]

镇内保有典型的客家祠堂文化。何、饶、练三姓宗亲由此向外迁徙，台湾饶氏宗亲每年来此寻根谒祖；世界何氏总会认可象洞为何仙姑文化的源头。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

中共武平临时县委旧址原是陈氏宗祠，建在象洞镇张天堂，属武平县第八批县级文物保护单位。[4]

镇内还有白石顶战役纪念旧址。[1]

著名人物[edit]

革命先辈陈仲平、谢毕真出自本镇。[1]
