中湍村是福建省龙岩市武平县永平镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北部，与桃溪镇相邻，距镇政府7公里，距县城35公里，海拔430米。[2][3]

村中的民俗绝技「武平民俗绝技」已列入省级非物质文化遗产名录。[4]

地名由来[edit]

村中分上湍、中湍、下湍之称，村名就取中间的中湍。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，这里属桃溪区的中湍保。1958年起，中湍成为永平公社的一个大队；1984年，中湍村民委员会成立。[1][3]

人口与自然[edit]

村内有13个村民小组，297户，户籍人口1203人（博雅地名网，未注统计年份）。土地面积23238亩，林业用地20288亩，森林覆盖率91.6%以上。耕地面积据博雅地名网为900亩，据百度百科为700多亩。[2][3]

博雅地名网记村内辖3个自然村，百度百科则列为中湍、湍下、桂竹坑、牛皮湍、大坪5个自然村。[2][3]

方言与民俗[edit]

村内方言为客家话汀州片永定腔。[3]

村中的「上刀山」「下火海」「捞油锅」等绝技，属于「武平民俗绝技」，表演多在逢寅、申、巳、亥年的农历十月十五日醮会上进行。该民俗绝技2005年列入省级非物质文化遗产名录。村里每三年举办一次民俗文化旅游节。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，中湍村被福建省爱卫办评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
