历史沿革[edit]
1952至1954年间称美和乡，归武东区；1955年改属十方区。[3]
1961年设美和大队，1965年归武东公社，1984年设美和村委会，属武东镇。[3]

镇政府介绍称，美和村的「黑山羊」养殖是以村为单位的特色产业之一。[4]
