地名由来[edit]
民国初年，此地名书楼背，划归中正区。1935年（民国24年），因学校名称，由振文初小改称黄埔保，村名由此而来。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年设黄埔乡，归武东区，1955年改属十方区。之后并入六甲乡，1960年又改属十方乡。[3]
1961年设黄埔大队，隶六甲公社，1965年改属武东公社。1984年设黄埔村委会，属武东镇。[3]
