历史沿革[edit]

此地古属归郡里。民国时期归中正区管辖，实行保甲后设袁田保，列入中正乡。[3]

1958年并入丰田乡。1961年设袁田大队，隶丰田公社；1965年归武东公社。1984年设袁田村委会，属武东镇。[3]
